Chairman
The Independent advisory committee of the Company comprises Mr. Sudarshan Ahangama, who oversees all finance functions across the MAS Group whilst simultaneously managing the Treasury, Legal, Audit & Assurance and The Shared Services Functions. He is also a member of the MAS Investments board, which oversees the non-apparel investments of the Group. Prior to joining the MAS Group, Mr. Ahangama worked at John Keels Holdings (JKH) Group of companies from 1988 to 2004 and he was appointed to the Board of John Keels Stockbrokers and was its Managing Director until 1999.

Mr. Iftikar Ahamed heads the Financial Services Sector of the Softlogic Group and is the Managing Director of Softlogic Capital PLC, which is the financial services holding company of the group that has interests in Insurance, Leasing, and Finance and Stockbroking. He is also the Managing Director of Softlogic Life Insurance PLC and Director of Softlogic Stockbrokers (Pvt) Ltd. He counts over 30 years of experience in a wide range of métiers within the financial services industry and has extensive Banking experience both in Sri Lanka and overseas, having held senior management positions as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Nations Trust Bank PLC and Senior Associate Director at Deutsche Bank AG. He holds an MBA from the University of Wales, UK.
Director / CEO
Ms. Niloo Jayatilake holds the position of CEO / Director of Softlogic Invest, the asset management arm of the Softlogic Group. She is also the Head of Investments of the Softlogic Group PLC, one of the fastest growing listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka with business interest in health care, retail, ICT, financial services, automobile and leisure. With more than 25 years in the investments and portfolio management field. She heads the investment team at Softlogic Invest, promoters of the Softlogic Money Market Fund & Equity Fund. She currently manages the Group’s investment portfolio as well as the life insurance portfolio of the Softlogic Life, the insurance arm of the group, with a fund value of Rs. 18 bn, covering both fixed income and equity securities. She is also actively involved in evaluating Group investments in both listed and unlisted investment opportunities in the market. Prior to joining Softlogic Holdings, held the position of Head of Portfolio Management/Director of Guardian Fund Management Ltd for a period of 10 year, led the fund management team and was involved in building of AUM under the fund management company of the Carson Cumberbatch Group. Niloo has represented Sri Lanka and holds national colours in golf. Currently serves as Council Member of the Sri Lanka Golf Union (SLGU) and serves as Chairperson of its Junior Sub Committee overlooking the national golf development program. Also Heads the Womens Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka. She is Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK.
Director
Charith Gunathilaka joined Softlogic Holdings PLC as a senior manager in strategic planning in 2013 and played a very key role in mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring and new business developments. He was instrumental in forming Glomark supermarket chain in 2018 and now he heads the strategic planning & business development of Softlogic Supermarkets (Pvt) Limited. Prior to Softlogic, Charith served as a senior consultant at KPMG. He pioneered in setting up international tax planning and financial advisory services in KPMG Maldives and was the lead consultant in international tax planning, cross border transactions and investments. During his tenure at KPMG Sri Lanka and abroad, he has obtained a multi-disciplined exposure in Audit, Tax, Risk and Financial Advisories. He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK). Charith holds BSc in Finance from University of Sri Jayawardanapura and obtained his MBA from University of Colombo. He holds the record for the highest marks in the history for the top Chartered Accountancy Case Study Exam in 2012 December. He is a past pupil of Royal College Colombo 07.
